WILLETTON – HOUSE EXTENSION WITH ROOFING RESTRUCTURE

Our client wanted to convert their Unpermitted enclosed outdoor area they inherited upon purchase into a large living area connected to their kitchen. They wanted to ensure that the extension matched with the existing property, and involved us Re-pitching up to 50% of the existing roof to ensure our new works blended seemlessly with the existing home. Over a 5 and a half week period we were able to transform our clients goals into a space that exceeded their expectations.

To replace the solar tubed skylight which was causing ceiling damage due to leaks throughout major rain storms, we patched the roof and ceiling and replaced with a solar panel powered LED illume Skylight. These sky lights fit flush with the finished surface of the ceiling and provide bright light throughout the day while the suns rays are hitting the solar panel, and then automatically turns itself off once the sun sets.

We were also required to replace the existing chimney and fittings to the existing wood fire place due to roof restructuring, but gave the client the perfect opportunity to make an upgrade to the exhausting capabilities of the fireplace, enhancing the heating effeciency.
