Project Description

SHELLEY – WIR & ENSUITE EXTENSION

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Clive and Nicoletta contacted us at Apollo Improvements looking to add an ensuite and WIR coming off their existing master bedroom. With enough open space on their block to comply with the zonings R codes, we were able to happily oblige their request and complete their home extension. As with all of our projects, from initial concept design, to council and legislative requirements, through to completion, we took care of everything.

With limited space between their dwelling and the neighbouring boundary, we had to get creative with best utilising the available space, whilst still keeping with the appearance of the existing property. By utilising a combination of brick veneer and double cavity brick, we were able to achieve a much-desired outcome for our clients. With little to no down time, we were able to complete this project on time, and on budget*.

The * represents an unforeseen issue that we came across when connecting the sewage from the extension to the existing sewage. Due to existing sewage heights not being code compliant, we had to install a macerator pump to pump all sewage waste uphill from the extension to the existing sewage line. There is always a solution to any problem, and Apollo Improvements is always here to find the right one for you.
